Subject: i'm trouble to setup step per revolution
hi all,
i'm new in kflop user, i have change my old printer-port board to a new kflop.
the hardware: kflop, driver microstep 4.2A leadshine m542, 2 phase stepper motor 3.5 A.
Kflop control trough channel 0 the driver setting in 4 microstep output (800 step-revolution).
the motor is connected to a 2 mm screw trough puleys: 30 tooth for motor, 60 tooth for screw.
now the problem: one motor revolution corresponds to 1mm of movement of the screw.
after setting kflop, using kmotion the movement of 1mm in kmotio corresponds to half revolution of motor then 0.5mm of movement of the screw.
i have try to change the value in the config&flash Inv Dist Per Cycle, and in step response, but the results is the same.
can anyone help me to solve problems?

thanks

p.s.:sorry for my bad englsh.

Hi Luis,

InvDistPerCycle applies to other Output Modes not Step/Dir.

We prefer to leave KFLOP (and the KMotion.exe Step Response Screen) to operate in raw "steps".

Then set the system resolution in the Application you are using (KMotionCNC or Mach3).

For KMotionCNC the resolution must be set in inch units.

In your case I believe 1 rev = 800 steps = 1mm

resolution = 800 steps/mm = 20320 steps/inch

Set this in KMotionCNC | Tool Setup | Trajectory Planner |  Axis Parameters | Counts/inch

HTH
